So, I'm looking around for Berger 6MM 108 BT Target bullets. The price for a 500 box looks good at Brunos, so I place my order through the website on Wednesday. Maybe, 10-15 minutes later the phone rings, it's Jason Bruno and he apologizes and explains that they are sold out of the 500 boxes, but he'll sell me 5X100 boxes same lot, for the same price as a box of 500. And he'll ship them faster and cheaper than the method I had chosen. Got them today. They were packed like NASA engineers were sending them to the Space Station. Needless to say I'm impressed. My poor planning didn't include load development for this weekend, now thanks to Brunos, it does.

we are lucky to have Bruno.most of the time, you can get actions and barrels without the wait, and they are very fair on prices, and are well stocked, and offer great customer service. I don't know the rest, but Jason,lester and amy are first class.

Nice folks and have great customer service...BUT they were on the front line of taking advantage of the shooting community during the shortage. I don't forget and they are on the bottom of the list when I start looking. Lots of retailers didn't rape us and they'll always get my business first and consequently most are sponsors of this great site.

That's the same mindless bashing that went on during the shortage. I've been dealing with Lester, Jason and Amy Bruno for more than 8 years and they ALWAYS make good on whatever they can do. So go ahead and badmouth all you want and that means the rest of us can happily buy their products. And BTW, they are a sponsor of this site and have been for a long time! I too remember the CRYBABIES on this site who praise when they score deals and bash when they have to pay like everyone else!

I have always had great service from Brunos. I try to take advantage when they have their specials. During the shortage their prices may have been a little higher than elsewhere, but at least they usually had what I wanted.

For guys that complain about prices during the shortage. Think about it this way. Jim Bobs Sporting goods relies on x amount of income from reloading supplies each month to stay in business. Now they have an extremely hard time getting those supplies and income is way down. So maybe they get half of their anticipated shipment each month, if that. They're the only guys within 100 miles that have it and they need to make up for a decrease in sales/income. So they charge an extra 50 bucks a 8 lb jug to try and help make up for it. Who cares. That 50 bucks isn't gonna break your bank when you buy it. How much do you spend on a weekend going to a match? I would say roughly 500 bucks in gas, hotel, match fees, ammo etc. And you still didn't use a 8 lb jug of powder for the whole weekend. Maybe used 2 lbs of powder. So it cost an extra 12 bucks in components for the weekend. 12 bucks out of 500 isnt jack. LOL

This is a family operation that is dedicated to our sport and its' participants. I am happy that they are local, with a 1 hour drive each way, for me. Try to get the same personal attention at Cabelas or Bass Pro.......even if you can accidently find someone on the floor to assist you. Prices up or prices down Bruno's will always be my go to supplier.

I finally decided to order a new 6mm barrel from krieger and I thought i'd check with Bruno's first. what to you know they had it in stock and this month there is free shipping. it was cheaper than ordering direct from Krieger and I have it in my hands now.
on the pricing issue, one thing is for sure, things change, markets fluctuate, prices go up, sometimes they come down, it's nice to have options and different places to spend my money. I have my favorite places and my unfavorable as well.

you just Lester can be a bit high; wait until you go to buy a new HD. Dealer markup is 25% and most will not deal a dime off retail.
