Breathing New Life into shooting jacket

I have an older CC leather jacket I was able to pick up inexpensively. I'm trying to bring it back to better working shape. I've redyed and conditioned the leather, and replaced the buckle straps. The rubber is no so bad that it needs replacing, but it's a bit "shiny," and the shoulder is not holding as it should. I was hoping to avoid buying the replacements and the expense of a tailor/shoe repair person to sew them on.

Is there any tricks to breathing some life back into them for the remainder of this season?

I've had some success on sandpapering rubber on the inside of the sling cuff to make it more grippy.

You can buy neoprene rubber and stitch it over the top. Sandpaper is about the only thing that works with that rubber. Chemicals make it worse and soapy water doesn't work either.
Maybe try some little streaks of shoe goo. It could work, I don't know.

Impact adhesive may work too. I used that on a Monard jacket. It was still working when I sold the jacket five years later.

If you can find some, top grip rubber is the best for replacement. It's very grippy, as the name implies, but is hard wearing. It's fairly soft and follows the cloth well too.

Trigger , do you know anybody in the printing trades? There is a product that is used to clean and deglaze rollers and blankets that might work. If the jacket has a foam celled rubber like Creedmoor used I would not try it it will likely melt it. If it has a hard face rubber it might help but I would try a small area first and dont let it dwell. I was called super rubber rejuvenator from one manufacturer
