I have an older CC leather jacket I was able to pick up inexpensively. I'm trying to bring it back to better working shape. I've redyed and conditioned the leather, and replaced the buckle straps. The rubber is no so bad that it needs replacing, but it's a bit "shiny," and the shoulder is not holding as it should. I was hoping to avoid buying the replacements and the expense of a tailor/shoe repair person to sew them on.
Is there any tricks to breathing some life back into them for the remainder of this season?
