Break in barrels

There are reasons to slow down on a new barrel. Mainly getting baselines on case to chamber interaction. Also fouling patterns, and general ease of cleaning, along with seeing what this new barrel is trying to tell you.....

Slowing down and observing=good

Thinking you're somehow effecting,or managing barrel steel= ehh,not so good.

yes

Everyone is going to have a different idea or opinion on barrel break in. To each his own.

I've got a brand new Brux ready to screw on. Considering what I've got in it from the day I ordered the blank I don't mind giving it a little common sense TLC coming out of the chute . I know what worked on the last one and back about a half dozen barrels I know what doesn't work , avoid at all cost.
