It appears to me that you have a great load. If one starts tweaking a load that is shooting 1/2 inch of vertical at 300 yards, he may be chasing his tail, especially if the group is shot with mirage. An obscure shooter by the name of Tony Boyer once told me that he likes about one bullet of vertical in his 200 yard groups because his testing showed that the load does better in the wind. James

I am hoping that your results are indeed the bottom line and not fibbing to you.
Your first group in this thread, being three shots wtih one dropping low, well, many would say "statistically -insignificant shots fired". Dropping one 3/8" low from two others cutting each other......at 300 yds....with terrible mirage......As was suggested, do same load which you did, already loaded. See if that +.010" holds up.

Our club's US F Team member Dwayne Draggoo uses a force seating gage. Those that he culled for being out of his limits, he shot and they were indeed out of the group. He anneals every time, straight .284 Win.
There are so many mechanical, assembly variables plus skill level, you are doing well.

Lots of good advice given here and looks like you have a well built rifle. The fine tuning would be much quicker and easier on your barrel with a good tuner and learning how to properly use it. I use Bob Greens and would not want a rig without one anymore.
