Brass quanity question

How much brass do you use for each rifle? I realize that if it's a PPC rifle you have as much for each barrel used in comp. I made about 25 cases for the PPC per barrel. Now for a 22-250 for general shooting and not using Lapua brass I will have about 400-600 cases and about 300 for the Hornets. I'm in the process of building a 6mmBR and collecting components for it. I have 2 new boxes of Lapua brass now in line for it. It will be used in both comp and occasional ground hog. Mostly competition.

How many do you use/ have ?
Thanx again,
Dave

I usually have 100 pieces for each comp. gun. two 6br.s & 30 br. Lapua brass is good for many loadings.

Yep; me too. Not that I don't have a hundred set back in reserve supply. I always try to have a hundred in reserve. But for active comp. gunnery, a hundred "at the ready" works well.
For my varmint shooting (.223) I maintain 300 - 500 because shooting squirrels can eat up that much in a day or two of good hunting and I don't want to have to drive 200 miles back home because of an ammo. shortage.
