Bottom metal for AR mags

In another thread somebody mentioned finding a bottom metal set up for a Rem 7 or 700 that uses AR magazines..

I'm out of the loop I guess, who makes a BM like that ?????

dont do it unless your building something that will center feed like a 458 socom. Ar mags need a toothed bolt to strip rounds properly in a double stacked configuration. PTG also make AI bottom metal that works great in 700's

If you want to seat out heavies like a 75 gr ELDM you're better off with AICS mags and bottom metal.

I would recommend the Wyatt's over AI mag for the 223 family of cases. I run one in a 223AI and a 308 mag for a 458 SOCOM bolt action and both work wonderfully. The AI 223 mag just uses a bunch of spacers inside and is needlessly large, I have one on a 20 Practical and would replace with the Wyatt's if I didn't already own it.
