Since its been resurrected, I'm an Ivy rod fan. I believe he stopped making them. The ProShot SS rods are almost as nice. Never had a problem using SS rods with a good bore guide.
I had a few small spots of coating chip on both BoreTech and Dewey. A good crown will peel the coating like a hot knife through butter if one is not using a bore guide and uses poor technique. Nothing is forever.
