Recently bought the NTG 100 flex shaft model,[.195 diameter ]best 50 Usd ever Spent,way better than Lyman borescope,way cheaper,better pictures,Great for checking for carbon/ copper ring at back of throat,for .20 cal up,can't be beatDebating on picking up a Teslong borescope which cost about 80 Canadian.
Are they worth buying or us it just something that will keep you paranoid of your barrel condition ?

ouch!Glad I looked before I decided to start working on loads .
100 percent agree....you just never know . I have many rifles that shoot very well despite what you would think after looking at their bores .ouch!
OTOH i just picked up a used bbl that in first two powders tried in ladder tests half the steps had touching holes, despite a couple of 'anomalies' in the bore.
so, like many things.... "it depends....."
