Man im just kidding. Its essentially a smaller contact point for the bolt to open on. Its like dragging a piece of plywood flat on the ground or putting a baseball under it then moving it
I'd like to get one of my bolts done with a lift kit and firing pin bushed.
2001 F 250 with over 200,000 miles,been in the shop 3 times,,#1 ignition coil, #2 complete checkup before moving to Texas, #3 fuel pump, I guess that is alright

Where I live, winter road salt would rot Ford trucks faster than any other vehicle on the road. Thus why Ford decided to at least make the body out of aluminum. I honestly wish cars didn't have a single piece of ferrous steel on them.

...I also had one customer send me a bolt that had a bolt lift kit such as is found elsewhere. I did my own tuneup on it as he was not satisfied with it. It started with a 5lbs lift with a plain bolt lift kit. After some modifications similar to the ones I install I was able to get it down to 4.25lbs...
