That's how a truck should last!2001 F 250 with over 200,000 miles,been in the shop 3 times,,#1 ignition coil, #2 complete checkup before moving to Texas, #3 fuel pump, I guess that is alright
for a 17 year old truck.
A friend was driving his brand spanking new F-250 down the freeway here in Texas and when he took his foot off the gas pedal to exit the freeway, the engine blew itself to bits. Pics were incredible, block blown apart with innards showing, heads blown off. Took 3 months for the dealer to offer to put a new engine in it.
I guess it's true what they say when the fuel/air mixture goes too lean in a diesel engine. Ka-POW!
