Bolt Lift Kit by Grimstod - Ben Chappell

Ben (Grimstod) did 3 Savage bolts for me about a week ago. One required swapping over to a mag bolt head and he trued all 3 heads also. While I haven't shot them yet they all look and feel outstanding. Communication and turn around time were excellent as well.

Just tested the Borden. It’s 6lbs. I do not think his actions are typically that heavy though. Several other shooters have commented that the one i have has a rather heavy lift.

That does sounds like a lot for a custom.
Just got mine back from my local guy, nice improvement even the primary extraction feels smoother.

...I also had one customer send me a bolt that had a bolt lift kit such as is found elsewhere. I did my own tuneup on it as he was not satisfied with it. It started with a 5lbs lift with a plain bolt lift kit. After some modifications similar to the ones I install I was able to get it down to 4.25lbs...
