Bolt gun 6mm ARC 105-110grns bullets and VV powders?

Anyone loading the 6mm ARC with 105-110 weight bullets for a bolt gun with VV powders? I have some VV N135 on hand but looking like N140 would be a better choice from burn rate chart but VV doesn't list any loads for the 6mm ARC. I am waiting for barrel for my bolt gun so just trying to figure it out before it gets here. Trying to get them in the 2700+ range which looks doable from my 26" barrel in a bolt gun. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Got some info from Vihta Vuori for the 105 Scenar, 108 ELD and 110 Atip. The warning below came with it so figured I would forward it as well. I only asked about these two powders as they seemed to be the two that set in the same burn rate as others used.

Warning!

Bolt gun loading data is hotter, not for use in gas guns.
I'm have the parts for a gas gun. It should work for me.
I was thinking about a bolt gun too but changed my mind after seeing the different load data.

Why build a 6 ARC as a bolt gun? Was meant for an AR15. What as waste.
The 6mmBR was not developed to be used in an AR, the difference between the two is minimal and inside 500yds I don't see an advantage as most people I know that are shooting the BR are loading and shooting to the near same velocities as I would load a ARC bolt.

Where in my response did you read anything about me telling you to try a bolt gun? I was telling you if you wanted VV gas gun data to contact them. Simple as that.
You didn't say to use bolt data in a gas gun, I don't think I'll use VV powder anyway. I was off on an unrelated thought.

I have a AR15 M4E and like it allot, I kept my 6MM Remington. The AR is much more versatile as a general purpose rifle, the Remington hates grows and chucks, it forces me to shoot them near and far.

If you wanted gas gun data drop VV a message and they can help out.
From my understanding of how this works is you can file a request with VV for a caliber, bullet weight, powder and if my memory serves me right the application, e.g. AR 6mm ARC at 52K psi. That request then gets queued up for sometime in the future depending on requests and time. They may get to it and they may not. That was the process I used when I contacted VV with a request for N540 and N140 for a gas gun with 105gr bullet at 52K. You don't get a direct response, but keep checking the VV site to see if they ever get around to providing test data for that combination. Again, I may be wrong but that was my understanding and experience. Of course the more requests for a caliber and powder improve the probability of a response.

I sent the request through their site and received a personal response with the info. Might be different now from when you did it.

Hornady has some N140 gas gun data and you could easily extrapolate a good start point for it gauging off of other powders in their bolt gun data.

Yeah I saw some of that but was looking for some first hand but seems like not a lot of people doing it but with the VV info I should be good to work something up.
