I have seen that Waypoint with some really nice wood. Not a word from any review in magazines or online about having any real accuracy.

^^^^^^^ that's what I paid for my Savage. It shoots pretty good. I have a Bergara BMR that I lent to my buddy in Church and he shoots squirrels in the head with it to 50 yards with red box Tac22. 1 shot, 1 kill.

I would go with a Ruger precision. Far several reasons: mine is very accurate, under 3/4"; it's adjustments make it easy to set up for kids or smaller framed individuals; the magazines are nearly foolproof and cheap.

I have longed for a chance to shoot the Keystone adult sized 22LR that they make. It's a David and Goliath story and I mostly pull for the under dogs. I hope they make accurate rifles but have never had the chance to find out.

For the price, these shoot really well.

Tikka T1x. Mine was very accurate out of the box and easy on the wallet compared to the other rifles that will shoot at that level.

I agree as well........Tikka T1X's are very accurate as a rule...some better than others...one of the top BR rimfire gunsmiths said they were the most accurate factory rifle he had ever seen.......I will second that. I have owned many different factory rifles over the last 45 years.

I am a recreational 22 LR shooter and the Tikka exceeded my expectations for a factory rifle. I am just shooting CCI SV and I am very pleased with combination of economy and precision. I get a lot of productive and economical trigger time.

Two changes I made that greatly enhanced my performance. I replaced the factory pistol grip with Tikka's aftermarket vertical pistol grip. I increased the comb height about 1/2 inch using Vet Wrap to give me better check weld and eye alignment with the scope.
