I just realized while trying to clean all the copper out of my rifle with wipe-out foam spray cleaner, that blue color is coming off the Montana jag... so I'm not sure now if the barrel is free from copper or the jag is lying to me...LOL.
At first I thought this is not possible, so I cleaned the jag with denatured alcohol and wiped it off clean.... then sprayed some wipe-out bore foam cleaner on it, and after 10 mins, the jag turned the cotton rag to a beautiful blue.
I even tried a one size smaller caliber nylon brush wrapped with a cotton patch as a make shift jag, but the wire holding the bristles also turned the patch blue.
Is it possible that this Wipe-Out Foam Cleaner is that strong?
