Black hills "match" brass is no match...

Is needed, even more if using a bushing die & sizing only about 1/2 of the necks.

Just how i see it.

The walls are so thin on BlackHills that using a bushing .001 smaller with a Redding Competition die does not even show you a fine line that you demonstrate which I usually get on Lapua brass... so I wound up doing 75% but its very difficult to see when setting up the die +- .001 on this brass does not really show... if I go another .001 bushing down then maybe... I usually size like you do about 50% down the neck... as a I said lesson learned its not worth it messing with this brass for high precision.... and turning necks on Lapua/Norma is pointless... I just wanted to see if I can take some middle of the mill brass and use ... its likely better to take LC brass, anneal it, mandrel expand and turn all down by .002 much thicker neck then you truly see the difference... I think I will give up on neck turning never did it before much and none of my chambers are really that tight so ...... maybe on my 6.5x47 Kreiger if anything, but again I use LAPUA brass only yet to see neck sizes on that, just whipped out my sinclair digital thickness gauge...
