Bipod legality for FClass

I have been thinking hard about buying the SEB JPOD. I was just about to order one. It just came to me that having a joystick sticking out the back, your hand on the ground, and the joystick in your hand, basically amounts to a tripod. It is attached to the bipod. Although it is not a 'return to position' sort of device, It does add support.

Am I over-thinking this?

I know there are a lot of guys on here that deal with rule interpretation. What do you think about a bipod with a joystick?

Go back into the daily bulletin and go back a few pages to the article and see if it dicusses this.I believe it does.

The TexasT article?

Still not sure what the difference would be in having a third 'leg' sticking out the back and resting on my hand. I'm really not able to spend $400 on a bipod if the rules committee finds against the idea.
