Bighorn Origin action

Not a smooth transition from magazine to the chamber with the sharper shoulder. 223 rounds would feed just fine while fire forming. When shooting the formed rounds I would occasionally get an round that would stop the bolt about half way through the cycle. I believe the combination of the shoulder, flat breach face, and the round trying to slide into place under the extractor just did not jive.

When I spoke with BigHorn reference the problem, I was told this was not the first time this issue came up and they were working on a bolt head to help with the issue. Now that I have the push feed head it has not been an issue.

Thanks man.

I'll keep that in mind.

Have had that issue on a few 700's with the .223AI.

I have a .223AI coming for my TL3 so hopefully it won't be a huge issue.
