Big + for RCBS

Recent reach out to RCBS resulted in the same perfect support they’ve always have. Despite what was posted here,I had, as usual, excellent service.
The only thing I’d note is the emails they send, are marked sender as BUSHNELL, which may cause some confusion.
But it’s perfect support as always.

Same here and I have been using their products for over 50 years.

The only negative I experienced was with their old hand primer which the handle kept breaking but they replaced without issue, several times. But that was a product design issue not a customer service issue. After repeated failures, many years ago I went to a Sinclair hand priming tool which is indestructible.

I posted this for two reasons. There were some complaints on here about RCBS.
(Shocking).
So in a quick investigation I found that they are really working with emails as opposed to the phone.
Yes they responded quickly, but the email is headed with BUSHNELL and not RCBS. But the email is definitely from the RCBS people responding perfectly as usual to your question.
BTW: My first RCBS purchase was 1963

I've had a lot of green stuff since the 60's and really cannot remember calling customer support. There products always was like Coleman used to be, take it out the box and it worked! Well all except that pesky...

I think I bought about three of them!

Yea, I was at about at 3 when I began searching for an alternative and choose the Sinclair tool.

While not the cheapest option, the Sinclair tool is just perfect for me. I have loaded thousands of rifle and pistol cartridges with it and it's still going strong.

If you do go the phone route there will be a long hold. During that hold they will say they are receiving numerous calls and will give you a option for them to call you back, don’t do that and just stay on the line until a CS person picks up.

I LOVE their Competition Seater Dies. :D
I'd pick them up used if I couldn't find them in the caliber I wanted, call RCBS and the first question I would get was "you changing calibers"? Then, the parts I needed were shipped to me FREE OF CHARGE. That's why I have a LOT of Green gear.:cool:

I agree. However, their website sucks.

I have not used RCBS new website but what I am hearing is the China route of destroying a good American company. This makes me sad. The older green stuff on my bench preforms well for me. But support from China really turns me off and I love my Green stuff!

A few years back I dropped the cover of my 10-10 scale on the concrete floor and broke it. I called RCBS about ordering a new one and they said don't worry no charge. That's good CS.

I totally screwed up a small base .308 die some years ago by getting a case stuck, really stuck, and like a total dumbass used the wrong instruments of torture on it, including a chisel, to try to get the stuck case out. They sent me a new die, absolutely free. I spoke with Don Legg about an issue I was having with a Chargemaster 1500. He offered to warrant it even though it was out of warranty if I sent it to him. I didn't but appreciated him taking the time to call me and speak to me about my issue rather than just exchange email. They are good people there.

RCBS has the very best customer service out there.
Never a problem with them on any issues that I have had with any if their products.

Unlike Lee, Lee has the worst customer service out there from my experience.
I guess thats why when you have a problem with a Lee product you just toss it in the trash and move on.

I called them just the other day and a replacement is on the way. The problem was with a Swagger 2 kit, the small button was too big in diameter where it slips in the primer pocket before the flare starts to swag the crimp. It measured.175 in diameter and should’ve been .173, it just oversized the whole pocket.
