I just wanted to drop a short note and say THANKS to RCBS for having what is possibly the best customer service on the planet.
On quite a few occasions over the years I've had the need for replacement parts for this gizmo or that. Sometimes a part gets lost, broken or time just takes it's toll and every time RCBS sends a replacement free of charge. I've had two incidents just in the past few weeks. The first was about 3 weeks ago when I needed to pull my kinetic bullet puller out of storage and pull some slugs from my now useless .243 rounds. Unfortunately the rubber O-ring that holds the shellholder jaws together had degraded and it promptly snapped when I tried to use it. A small rubber band sufficed as a short term replacement but it was the wrong width and it shortly broke from the friction. RCBS had a new O-ring in my hands within a few days. Last week when I was doing case prep on my Trim Mate and noticed, not for the first time!) that the chamfering and deburring tools were dulling and in one case starting to get a groove worn in it from the thousands of cases it's been used on, I contacted RCBS again, and once again a new set of cutters was shipped right out. They always replace, for whatever reason, with no complaints and no excuses. I swear if I were to tell them that I wanted to see if my press could withstand a hammer blow, they'd replace the press if it broke.
Every other company should use RCBS's customer service as their template. -Rod-
