Big alpha coyote taken down.

That size coyote is getting much more common in western NY. Son in law sends me pics of the coyotes he’s killing and some of them are down right scary looking.
AP2020 honestly don’t think a 20 grain pill from a 17 cal is going to be as effective as that 6 mm your shooting on a dog that big. Will those smaller bullets penetrate enough?

I've killed many, many coyotes with a 17 Remington with very good results.

No doubt it will kill them. i was just saying its hard to believe it is going to be as effective as the 6MM Arc AP2020 been hammering them with.

Dead is dead,range is the only difference,i've killed dozens in five years out to 250 yards,with the 17 hornet,all recovered. When range increases it's 204 time,6mmArc gets it done no doubt.
