To clarify, we are talking about the 6PPC? Correct?

The 6PPC shoots to its highest potential with Vihtavuori N133. N133 also likes a lot of neck tension [.003" to .004"]. If you have the traditional .262" tight neck chamber and turn necks to .260" a .257" bushing is the norm. Sometimes a .256" bushing does the trick.

The barrel's most common competitive twist is a 1-13.5 although 1-14 and 1-15 have also shined on occasion. Bullets: flat base or boattail in 66 to 68 grain. Here's a highly recommended bullet source: http://www.bartsbullets.com/products/barts.html The Ultra is a Big winner.

A 7 twist???? 8 is all thats needed for a 105 and for a 115 in a Bartlien barrel or a 7.8 in others. The PPC will not work well with heavy bullets, it has been tried before …… jim
