best hand primimg tool

im looking for a good quality strong hand priming tool. I've had a quick look at pics of the k&m with the dial indicator and it seems good in theory but it looks a bit top heavy to use.

what do you prefer and why??

Having owned several different quality tools thru the years, my vote goes to Pma. Google pma reloading and take a look. Pat Reagan will hook you up.

I have two K & Ms made without the display. I think if all you want is a perfectly seated primer that they are hard to beat, and if you consider the price, they can't be beaten.

I don't understand why any others even exist.

I believe that the 21st Century Shooting, stainless tool is the best that I have seen. I have a Sinclair, and I have tried most of the others on the market. The Sinclair stays at home now; the 21st stays in my range kit, that I do most of my loading with, excellent quality and adjustability.

Agree with Boyd, I have both Sinclair & 21st Century and prefer the latter. PMA makes the nicest neck turner I've used also!

From the personal reviews that I have read, the 21st Century blows the competition out of the water when it comes to performance.

I have the 21century stainless single loading primer tool and it is by far and away the best I have ever used. I tried the 21century auto loading ones based on the lee tray(which is what I used to use) and its not even in the same ballpark as the stainless.

Get one , you will not be disappointed.

21st Century Single-load tool is my choice: better than the Lee or Sinclair I used to own.

Agreed on the 21st Century hand priming tool! Great feel, easy set up, and bulletproof. You will never have to buy another tool! One of the best things is the ease of switching out shell holders. First let me say thank you guys for the compliments on our neck turner. I don't want to hijack this thread so back to my point.

I felt it necessary to clarify some of the info on this thread. We at PMA Tool offer the 21st Century Priming Tool because we feel it is the best priming tool available right now. I like it so much that we tabled the idea of making our own. The Sinclair is an excellent tool too and I have primed tens of thousands of cases with mine. The 21st Century gives me every bit as good of feel and is easier to set up and since you don't have to lock the case in every time, it is much faster to use.
