Berger .308 185 gr. Juggernaut

Anyone using these bullets for target? Would like to try in a 30-06 (F-class) and 300RUM (1000yd steel). The shorter length might give more versatility in loading OAL. G7 is close to other 185's.
Thanks

The Juggernaut has been the F-T/R standard for several years. The 200s are taking over but the 185 is an exceptionally good bullet. You shouldn't have any trouble with them at magazine length with the '06.

Thanks, Warren. My health has prevented me from doing much shooting for the last 4 years and I'm behind. I am going to give them a try. Can easily achieve 2800+ in my 30" Krieger barrel. Should be fine for 600- 1000 and get me started again.

I'm not a person who can easily control the 200 grain bullets, so I Shoot the 185 Jugg. I find them to be very accurate, and I'm getting 2730FPS with them out of a 308 with a 30 inch barrel

Some friendly advice....don't get hung up on a certain velocity. There's a lot more 10 ring with small vertical and pushing too fast will give you vertical. Let the barrel tell you what velocity it likes best.

Great bullet. The 185 Juggs are my go-to bullet for our local monthly steel target match (1 MOA targets set at 560, 730, 880, 950 yards) in my 30-06 Ackley. They run a solid 3,000 fps from a 27" tube and hammer the steel all day long.
