Berger 25 Cal 135gr LR Hybrid - Anybody get them to shoot?

Even so, I didn't know it was possible to have a load that only shoots .5MOA at 100 and .3MOA at 500. I guess anything is possible, but I would think that's very rare.
I was going to mess with more load work but I'm pretty content with my current accuracy. I'd have thought I could dial down better at closer range but that's not really where I'll be shooting this particular rifle. Maybe I can get better accuracy playing with a few other powders but at 3100 fps with the 133, I'm happy right where I am. I have alot more of the 131s to play with and I'll do that more in weeks to come. May end up with those in the end. Can't say yet.

There have been negative posts about 6mm 109 and .308 208 LRHT as well.
Yet the 220’s have set a nbrsa 1k record.
Hmm the 208 shoot great for me. But i have heard some say they don’t shoot as well as the 200.2. Something about factory pointing not being super consistent i think causing occasional fliers. Following this thread cause i wanted a hot 25 cal or redo my roberts to AI and longer barrel for these

Just over actually. 1.6" groups at 525 yards. Best with the 133s so far. More testing needed with the 131 BJ and 135 Berger
Well that'd due just fine for me! You're saying this is with the Berger 133s, which have been the best performer for you between these and the 131 BJ ACE and the 135 Berger LRHT?

Can't quite say that yet. I've tested the 133s the most. Very little time with the 131/135s. I shot them with the same powder and charge as the 133s that I'm getting the best accuracy with. The Ace may prefer a different load. The 135s didn't like the load as much either. I'll run some charge variables with the 131s and 135s like I did with the 133s. May find they like less or more of a charge. Time will tell.

I did a little testing with the 135 Hybrid in a 25 WSSM Imp. last Spring to find something I could use for fireforming my brass at an F-Class match or two. Been so wet and windy I haven’t touched this rifle since then. I am going to take it to a 600 yard F-Class match this weekend though. That’ll be the first time shooting it past 100 yards. I was hoping after I got to work with it some it would be a good bullet for F-Class. Doesn’t sound like many in this thread are as optimistic as I am. I am using a 30” Brux 7.5-twist and was going to load up 43.5 gr. of H4350, CCI 250, and jump them .020”.

Not bad. I see more promise in your preliminary testing that I got...though I'll admit I haven't done that much testing yet (mostly I didn't like how big/huge some of my goups were, which I feel is always a sign of rough things to come even if you do find a good tune/load).

Very impressive

I’m not a paper puncher. My 100yd groups are not consistently as good as many others, but I have had the 131Ace and 135LRHT shooting well under 0.5moa at 750yds. And this is with 2 different rifles, a 257RobAI and a 25x47L. Both 1:7.5tw, Bartlein / Brux respectively. I run the bullets in the lands but not jammed on the 25x47L, and ~0.025-0.030” jump on the RobAI.

At my range we only have steel set-up, unless there is a 1k BR-style competition happening. I like to shoot positional at the 750, since that’s the bread and butter of the PRS type matches I shoot. When I have a stable position I’m typically shooting 3-4” groups on the head of the IPSC. Wind/wobble zone considered, those should be in the .25-.3moa zone at 100.

I don’t believe in the settling down of groups at distance, but I do believe in better focus at longer ranges for some individuals. Myself included. Been working, lately, on bench fundamentals for this reason. Shooting while sitting at a bench has always felt unnatural to me...

Long story short, I will be buying more 135LRHTs.
