Benchrest pistols

Anyone shooting here benchrest pistols? I know guys use them at MOA and ABMS. Im slowly gathering parts to build another one or two.

Whats the atlas chambered in? I've got. McMillan blank very similar to that stock!

My atlas at that time was 6 ppc. Barrel has an Ezell tuner on it

Wish I could get the one on the right back. It was a good shooting rig. Gre-Tan went through an xp-100r, Eric Wallace made the stock. It wore a few different barrels in the time I owned it. That one is a 6mm Dasher

Thank you I have had people give me numbers for him . But no one answers I know back in the day he had a car beautiful Ackley Hornets

Ernie is a heck of a teacher and just a great guy all-around. I was blessed to shoot in his group last year and was overwhelmed with information and his ability to shoot.....either right or left handed.

Blessed is definitely the correct adjective. Ernie is one in a million and I was blessed to meet him up in Wyoming as well. Lots of great people at the Cold Turkey shoot, ABMS,and the Wyoshoot. I wished I got back to shoot with that great group more, sadly we have lost too many of the great men that once shot with us.
