Working on gathering parts for a 6ppc. Its going to be a rear grip benchrest style bolt pistol. The action is a hall model b. Its huge, measures 1.73" in diameter. Have a lilja 1.450" 13t blank on order. They said 14 weeks. Reamer is on the way, sizing die is here, 8# jug of lt-32, couple boxes of 66-68gr bullets.

When the reamer shows up I'll make an inline seating die. Need to make a stock for it too. Haven't 100% decided on the design yet. I've used the Eric Wallace style br stocks and like them, but Im considering something with lower profile. The local gun club has let me shoot my xp-100's in the bench match, but Ive never shown up with a rig setup for BR

I guess the "B" stands for Big. My Hall S in 6ppc is small compared to that one. I bet you are gonna kick some serious butt with that one Aaron! How long will you make the barrel 18"? You won't be far off what the short range people use on their rifles.

The lilja I have on order is 15". I do have couple take off barrels. Figured Id chamber one for a fireform barrel. It'll look like a twig sticking out of that 1.73" action!
