Beat up "vintage" 223 varmint rifle

Beat up on Sako L461 action and looked like is spent 20 years in a moist closet.it was rusted externally and mildew on the stock.i did a quick clean up and we shall see how it goes.the barrel was at one time .222 as it is marked on the underside of the barrel.the bore is a tad rusted but no too bad.For two bits I couldn't pass it up.

I really like these old "custom" rifles.they have weird sort of charm to me.

Called a buddy and he has a 25 Copperhead barrel for an L461 should I not like the gun as is.It is tempting.
I'll shoot it as is for now though.
