This^^^ Prices at our local Bass Pro are retail plus a bunch. I aviod the place at all costs. At least Cabela's has or well had decent deals some times. Now there's 2 stores I won't waste my time in.
Looks like Scheel's is the only good one around now.

Bass Pro prices on shooting and hunting items are usually 10 to 20 percent higher than Cabela's already high priced goods. I look for Cabela's to be on par with Bass Pro after the merger.

LOL, my question mark was to incite thought, this is NOT a good deal. Cabela's has it's own brands of stuff that's still damn good for the coin, I can't see us sportspeople winning here.

Bass Pro is chock full of imported junk, crap, gizmos and cheap chintzy sucker bait. Oh, and the prices are stupid high. Cabelas always seemed to carry some of that stuff, and maybe with the $ they ade they also sold some really good stuff. I mean, has anyone ever seen Filson in Bass Pro??? Anyhow, sad to see it happen. I imagine Bass Pro will be the next Abacrombie and Fitch. Give it a few years and all it will be is skinny jeans and tube tops.

When Bass Pro first opened in Anchorage I went to check it out. A 250 round box of 22's was $59. Across town in Cabela's a 525 round box was $25. Have not been back to a Bass Pro since.

In the mid 90's BPS prices were equal or better than Cabela's, with Cabela's always having a better selection for my needs.
