Barrel Tuner vs Dapeners vs Load Development

If it wasn't wind. You can adjust that horizontal out with seating depth. If you end up with vertical that's ok we'll tune it out with the tuner
We'll have you shooting a .0something or other yet

Take a look at this seating depth test at 150yd. Al I need to do with the .011 test was use the tuner on the 28gr load and tune it no vertical to match the 28.5 load.
Now I had a wide load fro 28-28.5 that shoot in the same round hole. I could actually load a few at 28 and a few at 28.5 and shoot them into the same group.
Now I can load in the middle of that at 28.3 and have a much better chance of making it thru the day and the gun stay in tune
You stand a much better chance thru the course of the day if you have gun that isn't picky and fussy over a certain powder charge or velocity and you hemmed in to giving it the only thing it will shoot

Anyone have leads on a barrel tuner that is a clamp on style, that will fit on the end of a 1.25" barrel? I would like to do testing on this, but it is a hassle for me to send a barrel out to get it threaded for a tuner.

Also, any leads on tuners that will fit onto a 1.25" OD barrel that are threaded in the event that I want to go this route?

Erik Cortina's tuner is 1.25 and is threaded. Have two of them and will have them on all my comp barrels going forward.

Explain, please. I've got one on a 1.250" barrel. What is/are the issue(s)?
You could go with a Harrel's 1" i.d., 32 tpi that would give you an 1/8 " shoulder and still a good diameter at the muzzle. I try and go with an i.d. as close to the muzzle size as I can to cut a full depth thread and have a shoulder.
