I don't re-load. At this point in my life I don't want to make the monetary and mental investment in buying/learning how to do so. But would still like some load development to achieve better performance out of a .308 Winchester and a .30BR rifle. Actually, both are the same switch-barrel rifle. When I was still in Puerto Rico I had an LGS hand-load ammo for both and I was very happy with it.
Since I've been in Virginia I have not found such a service.
Copper Creek in MO (CopperCreekCartridge.com) provides such a service, at least for the .308. Don't know if they will do for .30BR (I still have to write them). Has anybody heard of them/used them?
So far I'm using 169 gr. Federal Gold Medal .308's, but I remember my LGS's shot a bit better. Same Sierra 169gr bullets. With 30BR I'm out of luck unless I find a hand-loader.
And, NO, I can't get ammo shipped from Puerto Rico.
Again, has anybody heard from or used Copper Creek?
