Let's not go down the torque stick rabbit hole.
Especially with a cordless/battery impact wrench.

Yeah…how do You know when a threads been “HIGH JACKED “ ???So much for discussing BARREL torque I guess!
But I did learn how to torque the lug nuts on my Land Cruiser on a shooting website.
Dave.
I gave up on that decades ago. Purchased a 36" breaker bar which I keep in the trunk with MY socket for the lug bolts or nuts. Actually the supplied jack with cars is terrifying. When are they going to include a wrench capable of loosening them? Not much worse than having a flat and the wrench doesn't work. BTDT
Not on anything supplied with car. I’ve bent them without a bar. The + style cheap aftermarket ones you can easily wind up like a wire.I bet you could use a barrel with a big enough bore as a cheater bar if you've got a stuck lug nut.
I forgot what the topic is.Yeah…how do You know when a threads been “HIGH JACKED “ ???
I forgot what the topic is.
Every thing that I have read says that the wheel studs and lug nuts should be dry and clean. What’s the best anti-seize for lug nuts?
That's it! I remember now.Kentucky Bourbon. Make mine a Basil Hayden.
