Will this one burn any deeper or is that it? It looks good for $400. Did that include the roller. the barrel is on?

It included the roller when I bought it. Not sure the current price.
You need to paint the barrel with cermark. Then run the laser over it. That etched it into the barrel. Will also work on a cerecoated barrel. If I had time to engrave other things I would upgrade to a more high end laser. It’s easy to use. And the customers like it.

I bought the $1499 ComMarker 20W self contained little machine a while ago. The power supply is built into the base and the overall footprint is quite small. I made the simple aluminum cradle to set barrels or barreled actions on, and am impressed with how well it’s been working.

I’m running with the default laser settings and use the cross hatching with 0.025mm line spacing. The barrel text shown below was done with 10 passes.
