Have zero experience in this so looking for guidance.
What I have is a Savage 110 Switchback 22" light Varmint in 6ARC that I purchased used and was told it was a low count rifle. Though after a number of different loads I cannot get it to shoot. Am now looking at a Shilen replacement barrel for this gun. Which brings me to the question of reaming this old barrel to possibly a 6 Dasher.
Will most gunsmiths be able to tell if this barrel is worth the costs to rechamber or if it's too far gone?
