Barrel Blank Quality - PBB

I know that Preferred Barrel Blanks are a not Brux/Krieger/Bartlein in quality, but where do they stand, overall? Would it be equivalent to a PVA Osprey?

Two years ago a got a PBB barrel for my 6.5 PRC as my order for a Krieger barrel was going to take almost a year at that time. Because I've had such good barrels from Krieger, I typically look to them as my barrel of choice. When I got my PBB barrel, the outside finish was very nice and the crown was done well. On inspection with a borescope I could see that it was lapped, but it appeared that there were some minor flaws in the metal that I've never seen in a Krieger barrel. I don't think those flaws have had any significant effect on performance, though it seems those flaw are more apparent now that the barrel has over 1500 round through it. I feel I'm still getting decent results, but I'm about to mount the Krieger barrel that's been waiting and I'll see how much improvement there might be on target . . . if any. For the price I paid for the PBB barrel, I feel I got good value out of it.
