Barrel Advice Needed

I bet that the barrel is full of copper.

Id bet with it going that bad something is loose/broken. Barrel condition doesnt take it that far

Yea it does. My friend shot over 100 rds through a Sako 300WSM with nothing down the tube but a bore snake. Tweleve inch group. Borescoped it and the grooves looked gold plated. Cleaned it with Sweets several times and then cleaned it upside down so gravity would get the copper off the top of the barrel. Next group3/4.

After a thorough cleaning and muzzle inspection, if the results don't improve significantly, get a Krieger Pre-fit.

Would check throat area w/ borescope,if you have a Carbon/Copper Ring build up at back of throat,you can use stiff nylon brush w/cleaner[Hoppe's #9 ] any good cleaner 10-20 strokes in throat area only.Run a clean wet patch,then a couple of dry patches,then borscope the throat again.Have seen a lot of barrels,just running patches untill they were clean, Did NOT remove Carbon/Copper ring.When it gets built up,drastically can effect group size,it hardens like concrete.Had this happen in a 204 ruger,groups went South,borescoped,removed C/C Ring,went back to shooting good groups
