Bait cast reel vs a Spinning reel

Cecil, just a 6500C. Thought you might need some parts.

That 5500 in the center can be chucked from the tallest bridge into the deepest water. Lol
LOL.......yeah ABU fell into the Wallmart thing and really never recovered! Thats why I only purchase the older models. They are a work of art and very much worth the cost of modifying!

The "Elite Mag has two methods of controlling "Backlash" centrifugal force the speed of the spool and "magnetic" slowing the spool after bait lands. This system once tuned preforms amazing , I can cast in total darkness with just the feel of my thumb.

It's a 5600C. They were gifted to me. Never used them. Too slow
Hello Castaway , I dont keep ABU reels for parts that would fill my "Man Cave" so I try to search out the premium ABU reels. They can be found from collectors for a good price. What about your Mag Elites? They are the gold reels with the black mag adjust on the right side. Do you have the extra magnets that came with the reel?

Spinning reels are for beginners or those wanting to cast far.

For bigger fish, bottom fishing, bass fishing in particular and general use the bait casting reel rules. It does take some practice and experience to use.
:) Sorry but you are missing out if you believe what you posted. Pair the combo below with some 2lb test line if you want to experience the ultimate in lightweight jig fishing.

Not for beginners, for sure.

And use wind flags for pinpoint accuracy
I have weighted tennis balls that I cast at a 5 gallon bucket. Helps me set the backlash adjustment and learn thumb control for the weight I will be throwing. I think I have the sickness......LOL
