I know a guy who dropped a match on top of a pile of old powder he said that just as he dropped the match he thought “ I shouldn’t have done this”. It was really bad , he had to have surgery to correct the damage to his face
Whatever worksYep,
Chargemaster 1500. I bet everyone has forgotten to close the Drain Port at least once. I have a couple of times. After the 2nd time I made a warning label to be placed and left on top of the Powder Hopper Cap.
Red Letters "DRAIN CLOSED - ??"
It's worked for me so far....

I recently posted about my run of bad luck with a 6mm Creedmoor. After that I realized I was not alone in my run of bad luck. I would like to hear some of your stories.
thanks
Yes. Just because they have articles written about them doesn’t mean they are great or niceHad an 03-a3 from cmp . Local "gunsmith" restocked it. Picked it up, bolt would not close. Can you believe this guy began grinding on the LUGS ? you kidding me? We were both ex Marines. Bolt still wouldn't close. He looked into the action, saw a piece of wood chip from carving on the stock, removed it, and then insulted my intelligence by holding the rifle , ( barrel pointing UP,) opened the bolt and it fell open as it should have. Then he says...works ok now ! True story.
And yet...some guy wrote an article in Precision Shooting about how great this guy was because he did the work for a well known local business man. I should havw written him and said... Yeah...I live here in the same town and know Mr. R. W...s !
Did the same thing twice with a Hornady Autocharger. Kept pouring in powder and wonder why it wasn't filling up. DUH!+1 on the Chargemaster drain![]()
