Athlon chronograph in stock

Got the Athlon unit Saturday. Haven't had a chance yet to try it with firearms.

I did shoot one of my PCP rifles at my home indoor range for initial testing. The target is 10 meters down a 3 foot wide hallway. To my surprise, it picked up all the shots and the numbers match up nicely with optical chrony numbers.

I also shot one of my crossbows. The velocity readings from it also matched up with optical chrony readings.

I got my Athlon last week and used it this past weekend to test my first load of 100 hand-loaded 308s. I likw the export to Excel feature which really satisfies the numerically oriented nerd in me.

I like my Athlon and use it when I’m shooting BPCR matches. It’s great for capturing data. The only thing I would like to see is a stand alone app for it.

I have used my Athlon for archery and rifles. Works great! Import versus Import, choose your poison.

I bought my Athlon Chronograph new from a guy on this site that had bought (10) of them when they first came out. I paid $350 shipped (a very fair deal). It works great! I've used it mostly for my air guns and a small amount for my .22 rimfire match rifles. It works like a champ! So far I'm really impressed with this unit.

i bot a used one also recently and it matched my lab radar numbers and i like the option for downloading data to the app and emailing it to yourself and of course the size is nice also, any mounting options for the raptor/rodzilla?

The Garmin is made in Taiwan and designed by Americans.

I have an Athlon and it is great. Sold my labradar for peanuts. It served me well. I believe I have a 30 feet per second error with my Athlon. That has been mention by a few folks.
