Midwest gun traders show , Allen County fairgrounds, just north of Ft. Wayne Indiana.
This is a scary but true PSA , the ATF requested a table in the entrance area of a gun show today in Ft. Wayne, 5 agents in full ATF regalia met patrons as they entered our show.
I did not interact with said ATF nor do I recall seeing there presence in the show, I was a vendor, back in a corner selling gunsmithing tools, but none the less the ATF was there, in force.
One guy I know well did interact with these agents, asking the agents to explain a certain law to him, the ATF declined because, they, the ATF could not understand the language nor the death/ limit of the laws scope......isn't that scary!!
To the best of my knowledge the ATF did not ask for ID no inspect any guns, but I am certain they were there as part of there "we hate you , you don't deserve the protection of the constitution " thug squad.
Next gun show I go to, I'm wearing my covid mask, May help keep my picture from being used on some list.
Stay safe and legal my friends
There was a somewhat famous quote, from whom I cannot recall, that came out of the civil rights movement.Michael Collins Piper wrote a book on the infiltration of the patriot nationalist movements. It was estimated that at one time 2 out of every 5 people at a militia meeting was either a snitch or an agent.
Not to be an ass but have you not been paying attention for the last 2 years. This governmental regime does not care one shit about what the law says or what the law means they do what they want.If one does not know what the law means, how can one enforce the law??
.
So, it's Bull S***. More hearsay?? When they stick a BADGE in your face, YOU saw them.I did not interact with said ATF nor do I recall "seeing their presence in the show",

"You could tell who the FBI guy was. He was the one who always wanted to blow something up."

Bo Gritz and Randy Weaver have also had a table at a Tulsa Gun Show.ATF usually sets-up at Tulsa. In one sense, there's a lot of mis-information about firearms law, on the other, many feel like they're "being watched".

ATFE isn't the enemy of every gunowner/business man in the US, just the dishonest ones. If they decide to harass somebody doing business out the trunk of his car without a FFL license I don't have a problem with that. Especially after I have been through the gauntlet to get my FFL and paid fees at a show to have a table to sell my goods and there's somebody selling out of his trunk having done neither. They're just stabbing the legitimate dealer in the back. I don't mind seeing BATFE agents at a show, out front, any more than I mine seeing police on the street.
This explains why you've been here since 2005 and not a paying member. You simply have no clue what this government agency is up to what they're doing or what they have been doing.ATFE isn't the enemy of every gunowner/business man in the US, just the dishonest ones.
