Unfair? By offering the hunter an easier way to detect animals, and a greater chance for success is hardly unfair. Is the use of a scope an unfair advantage over the hunter using open sights? And the use of a gun, rather than a bow? How about the 1000+ yard hunters setting up a shooting bench, 200 power spotting scope, and a partner calling the shots? Unfair also? The drone would also give you the opportunity to locate others in the vicinity before you let that bullet fly. The use of a drone is quite simply another tool for hunters to take advantage of.
I didn't say I agree with it.. it just is what it is. Most people that make game laws are not hunters, they are political busy-bodies, and some are anti-hunting and the more they can encumber hunting, the better they feel.
My state didn't ask me to write the hunting laws here.
I think most will ban drones, except maybe for predators and culling.
