ARC Nucleus action reviews

2 Stage or 1 Stage?
That's the one I have that works.
I have a Calvin Elite on my Mausingfield and have 2,800 trouble free rounds through it.
I have a nucleus 6x47, and run a huber concepts 2stage trigger In it. Love this action 100%. Really like the ejector on it, brass thrown distance depends on how fast you run the bolt out. So when on a bench, bring it back slowly and it wont throw it to the next coubty.
I have a long action Nucleus on order that should be here in a couple months. I got it during the early preorder so it was a bit cheaper. I’m a sucker for CRF actions and a good price so I went for it. If I were looking for a 3 lug action right now I’d look at the Curtis Axiom. I’ve played with two so far and they were really nice. Plus they’re available now.

This is my first post. I have three bolt rifle that have a three lug bolt. I have a Sako Trg 42, ARC Nucleus and a Curtis Custom Axiom. I run the Axiom for prs and nrl matches. The Nucleus for hunting. The TRG for long range stuff. The Axiom is the smoothest. The TRG is not that far behind it. The Nucleus is a little bit clunky. I am actually a little bit disappointed with the Nucleus.
I just wanted to throw out as smooth as the Curtis custom is do not recommend Curtis custom. I had so many problems with that Axiom. Luckily Joel Russo was able to help because there's no way me or my good friend who bought an axiom could ever get a hold of Curtis(we both had problems). I bought a vector and after finding out it wouldn't work with aw mags I traded it in for a two lug impact 737r which I am very pleased with. With the Curtis custom Axiom I have problems with light primer strikes I had to spoon file the feed ramp which was way too long for me to hand load and utilize that AI mag to get me .020" off lands. The closest I was able to load the rounds was about .3" off the lands. The action had very sharp edges which when extracting empty cases the brass would hit the inside of the ejection port and cut into the side of the case.
I could go on a more about problems but I'll stop there.
