AR10 Question

I know this thread is somewhat old, but I have built a 260 Rem AR10. The barrel is 18" so I just use 130gr projectiles and lighter. The rifle is very accurate, however, I am still working on loads for it. The 6.5 x 47 should be terrific.

Does anyone make an AR10 chambered for 6.5x47?

Almost any of the makers of uppers can chamber for the 6.5x47 Lapua.

The better solution though is to have both the upper and lower made together to insure the highest potential of accuracy given the cost of reloading this ammunition. Most of the parts for a build are available today since we didn't actually suffer through the panic of a few years ago. The tweaking of the mating parts will insure some degree of accuracy where just treating it like tinker toys won't. You have the ability to make a very nice custom in line with your particular wants without too much difficulty or delay these days.

Regards.
