Ar 15 barrel at Urbarrifleman

I am thinking about asking to carry the Wilson AR-15 stainless steel barrels. I'm thinking what I will do is use one single heavy contour underneath the hand guard with a standard gas length. Then I would order them at full length and then cut them to whatever length the customer wants and thread them.

I think it's a great idea.

Over the 40 or so ar15 barrels I've use, 80% of them have been Wilson blanks. These days I'm only using Wilson's. My accuracy testing in the past has been from prone with a sling. My 'acceptance criteria' is at least some groups 1/2 MOA or better.

For full disclosure, I would stay loyal to the gunsmith who is currently finishing barrels for me.

The amount of part numbers can explode even if you limit the conversation to one section and port length.

I think you can do it if you limit all the choices to the ones for your typical clients. The list can get very long, but you will be able to narrow it down to keep yourself from going crazy.

I will also agree that Wilson makes a great barrel blank for an AR. Good Luck!

If I were in the market for a new AR-15 barrel and Urbanrifleman had them available he would be my first choice no doubt. Full disclosure I do not see me needing one for quite some time.

I would take one in a heartbeat. Im wanting a wilson in 12.5" length in 6.8SPCII but they don't offer it

I'm all in. I don't own an AR yet but have been flirting with the idea of getting one. This would pretty much seal the deal for me.

Maybe offer 223 Wylde, 22 Arc and 6 Arc. Undersized gas port option would be nice and headspace verified bolts would be a good option as well.
