Anyone Shoot a 6mm TCU Rifle?

Yes and a 6X45AI and they may not be the same...

All 3, 6x45, 6x45ai, 6mm TCU are pretty close in overall performance. The 6tcu requires fire forming and the case is a bit more straight vs tapered of the other 2.

Favorite powder?

Hodgdon Ball C2 and H4895 in the 6x45. Should work equally well in the TCU.

H-4198 for the light bullets (like 55 -58 Grs) and H-322 for 65 -70 GR bullets.. I haven't tried it but I have some very astute friends that use RL 10X and Accurate 2200 ...I like stable powders so I stay with Hodgdon powders when I can......

My go to powders are H335 & X-terminator with 55-95g bullets.
87g vmax loved aa2015 & H335.

H322 nets 2875 from an 87Vmax out of my 22" 6x45AI...

I've always shot a 65g Vmax ahead of H335. (1-14t Krieger) the gun shoots so well with the load that I've never had reason to experiment. This particular 6TCU is my favorite varmint rifle. whats not to like? extreme accuracy, hits hard to 400, long barrel/brass life.

My brother has a 6mm TCU and uses H335. His is a tack driver and he uses it to hunt anything up to Mule deer. It has proven itself worthy, not only with his normal head and neck shots but even with body shots at more than 100 yards.

The 6 TCU is a great little cartridge..Very accurate, easy to tune and powerful for its size...A great variety of good quality bullets and powder available . I have some friends that have killed several Deer with it using appropriate bullets at reasonable ranges.... I like mine a lot and consider it a real asset in my overall idea
of special rifles. I think you will be very pleased and enjoy it a much as the rest of us...
