What is your favorite 6mm bullet for Prairie Dogs?

I know you said you wanted heavier - but out to 350 yards or so - why go heavier than a 58 V-Max? Lower recoil, cheap, super accurate. At that distance, the heavier bullets aren't ballistically superior enough to sway me. If I were shooting 400+ - that is another story.

Sierra Blitzking 55 gr out of my 6 MM AI will make a mess. At 4150 FPS there smoking.

I took 250 of each on my last PD trip and the 70s were the star of the show for me. The 55s were a little more explosive up close, but the 70s extended the accuracy at longer range noticeably.

I can imagine, I bought several hundred of the 70’s a couple weeks ago. Just haven’t gotten to trying them yet. What twist barrel you using them with?

I can imagine, I bought several hundred of the 70’s a couple weeks ago. Just haven’t gotten to trying them yet. What twist barrel you using them with?

I shoot them in a 12 Twist 6 BRA with a zero freebore chamber.
