Any testing with the 6BR 40deg shoulder?

We have some winter coming in on us again, but I waited until almost dark and was at least able to stay on paper. I wanted to see what mine would act like down a tad slower. It wasn't pretty at 2945 or 2955, but it came back acceptable at 2965. So I guess I've found the bottom and the top of this upper 4895 load. It holds vertical in check from 2965 to 3005 lol. I guess I'll go right back to 2985 and hope the brass can take it!

I'm 99% sure I will be running this cartridge in heavy gun and also shoot offs(if I can make one). The throat advancement is next to NOTHING, and that is so far my favorite thing about it. My second favorite is the fact that it will shoot in about a 40fps window instead of the 10fps I'm used to:eek:

Tom
I will test the 6mm brai tomorrow give you guys a update on the 8208 an h4895.

Even though I got there plenty early, it was just a tad twitchy. All in all though, I'd forecast the br-a will do quite well. I added up ALL the groups at 31.1 to 31.2, and -2 to +6 seating and came up with 12 targets in those ranges. 12 target agg is 3.6646".... Not to shabby.

Hey @Alex Wheeler. I combined the 12 targets I've shot with the fresh dasher. You should be ashamed of yourself. They have combined for a 24 target aggregate of 3.4998".

Tom
I dont have much to do with it. You are the one loading and tuning it.

Just keep shooting those little groups Tom just maybe you will shoot the good groups out of it by the time of the nationals I might have chance LOL.
