Any Partridge [ruffed grouse] hunting reports ???

SxS right? I recall the 100. I LUSTED after a 20 ga when they first came out. Eventually settled on a beater BSS. Sold it when I was hard up for cash a few years ago to a grouse guy down south. Miss it. But since I just walked 250 yards uphill to a treestand, and was so winded I thought I would die, I think my grouse days are long over.
Yep. Field Grade. Well used in the thickets and brambles.

Can you adopt me?

When I was about 13 I fell in love with the SKB SxS and the Remington 5mm MAg. I never got to own either. Im a lot older than 13 now.
Probably can't swing the adoption, but sometime in the not too distant future it might be for sale. It has been well used(several bumps 'n bruises) but as you know, a ruffed grouse gun gets carried a lot, shot very little.
If I had it to do all over it would still be my first choice for the woodlots or day long treks.

I don't eat much and I am pretty good at vacuuming and doing the lawn.

But if it is a straight out sell, let me know if you get the mood. I might (or my son) be in a place to buy if it is reasonable.

The late season in Michigan reopened 12/1, but not for me.
I'm in the group that believes that birds that have survived to this point live in the best cover and will hopefully make it to the next breeding season.
Sure wish we could get the experts that work for us to give them December off.
