Borden action - Brux 9 twist #4 heavy sporter chambered in 250 Ackley - Borden tuned Jewell trigger - Seekins DBM - Shehane African Obeche stock - Leupold VX-7 1.5-6 scope.Very nice
Sweet! Gotta love those smokeless MLs. I shot a few deer with mine this year but no long range. Seemed like every time I took it instead of the slug gun, I had a 100 yards or less shot. I'm still using sabots. That 70 grain plus loads kills on one end and maims on the other, right? Or does the brake do a good job of knocking down the recoil?

I'm in no hurry. Good luck with your shooting and enjoy yourselfI'll be back on it after the Bergers!!

Trying to decide on either a 6x45 or a 6BR for 200 yard max. at my house. Shooting off my deck so weight not an issue. Have a 6BR, but it won't shoot 68's since it's throated for 105's. Shilen or PacNor, another battle due to neck dia., freebore, etc. Not sure I'm going to see any difference in the two and can't make up my mind. Anyway, I have something of a plan for 2017.................. Aren't we lucky to have so many choices?

That's what I'm leaning towards. Still have lots of brown box Lapua.......No flies on the 6x45, but since you already have the 6BR why not just chamber a zero freebore, not turn neck and have at it.......![]()
