Lee, it was a little more than a club match! It was a club tournament and was only a couple of days before the AZ State Tournament. There were several travelers for those 2 events, including yourself. And......you bested me that day as well!!



I got to play second fiddle against Larry and Paladin a few days later. That rifle of his had always been very good, but it also had owners that worked really hard at lot testing it and had that mental fortitude to get the most out of it. Larry is that kind of a guy. You are that kind of guy too, plus you have the 'tinkering' knack that helps a lot also.

Yes, indeed it is competitive! I have few of those myself.
I know, it is a 2nd place finish and just a club match, but it is my most cherished as it was done against the number one ARA UL shooter that year and a Calfee spec rifle called Paladin.

Hey Scott, Thank you for the kind words. shooting that match really made appreciate what you and others go through to shoot the different venues. that will probably be the only chance I have to shoot against top level shooters.

I've had a truck load of quality rimfire rifles
From turbo's to hall's and a bunch of anschutz .
Had a 2013 Br anz that was absolutely a killer .....right now i think im shooting the best one I've owned a low round 1971 54 match set trigger with old back in the day multi match lapua its scary....now that will run out soon but center x is as good....i might shoot some ara next year but mostly club match's
